Government Tu-154, Polish President Lech Kaczynski, his wife Maria and the guests who rode to the ceremony in Katyn, crashed due to dense fog.
All indications are that the presidential couple is dead - announced Foreign Ministry spokesman. Nobody survived the crash.
On board were 132 persons.
Information about the death of President Lech Kaczynski and his wife Maria Kaczyńska confirmed the presidential office deputy Jacek Sasin.

Rządowy Tu-154 z prezydentem RP Lechem Kaczyńskim, jego żoną Marią oraz gośćmi, którzy jechali na uroczystości w Katyniu, rozbił się z powodu gęstej mgły. Wszystko wskazuje na to, że prezydencka para nie żyje - poinformował rzecznik MSZ. Nikt nie przeżył katastrofy. Na pokładzie były 132 osoby. Informację o śmierci prezydenta Lecha Kaczyńskiego i jego małżonki Marii Kaczyńskiej potwierdził wiceszef prezydenckiej kancelarii Jacek Sasin.
