Tekken 4 is a different tekken...It is a not good experiment by namco...But there are many worse fighting games...This Tekken also has some positives...and negatives of course...

This Tekken had the best cutscenes. The game it self was all around decent, and I also like the stage music alot. I don't know why alot of people hate on this Tekken.

This Tekken has perfect stages...and intro - Kazuya´s comeback...awesome and Marduk´s debut...

If I were to mention a flaw about this game, it would be a lack of backwards jump. And no, don't mention backwards jump-attack, because it doesn't count.

The controls were very unusual and Jin's fighting style change dramatically from Mishima Fighting Style Karate To Traditional Karate. The only thing I liked were the costume designs and the big chunky character sprites.

The game definetly ran slow on 50 hz. 60 hz mode made the game a bit faster, but that's about it. I have no idea about this "Progressive Scan" mode though, as I have never seen tv in my life that would've supported that mode. Neutral

some people can change from 50hx to 60hz with there TV (I can aswell)
no longer these annoying slow PAL games
