Xiaoyu was introduced in Tekken 3 and has returned in every release.
She was born in china and raised in china , and she an student at Mishima High School. Ling Xiaoyu is also a schoolmate of Jin Kazama.Her life’s ambition is to build an amusement park for all of China to enjoy! Xiaoyu speaks only in Japanese despite being Chinese.Even at a very young age, Ling Xiaoyu loved amusement parks. Also she was tutored in martial arts by Wang Jinrei from a young age. He believed that if she were more serious, she could achieve true greatness, but became frustrated by her careless attitude.

Age:19

Xiaoyu's fighting style was brought on with some influence from her distant relative, Wang Jinrei. Mastering her fighting style would require a constant flexibility (Ex. Art of the Phoenix, Phoenix Talon, Mistrust, Front/Back Layout) and maneuvering.
