Re: What are you bad at?
* I am also bad at performing Chain Throws. Then again, why bother when everyone obviously have looked up Gamefaqs how to break every single one.
* At good mix-ups
* At playing when I record

Hwoarang dances around and does amazing mix-ups when doing so. Try defend against that with input lag(slight or great, doesn't matter).greekman wrote:Muggshotter wrote:Hmm... wonder why...greekman wrote:

Re: What are you bad at?
Although I beat almost everyone around my area (people used to call me the Tekken God before the rank was even created!)... I'll still admit that I'm nowhere near the level of the top tier players. I can usually learn the basics of any character within an hour or two. I can do all the ten-strings, I can do parry's and counters, I can dish out rage-inducing juggles, and I can do the multi-throws.
I can not escape throws though, and anytime I ever do is pure luck. I'm not the kind of person who studies individual frames for every move in the game. I'm a Tekken fan of the highest degree, but I don't like dissecting my favourite games to the point of it becoming a religious practice. This is why I left TZ. lol
Also, in the arcade, it's easy to catch me off guard by acting like a n00b and then suddenly showing your true skills. Sometimes I just never recover from the shock! lol
Another way to beat me though is in the arcade... if you're the kinda jerk that picks Eddy/Christie/Lili and slams on the machine like a freaking gorilla when I start beat the crap out of you, I'll probably start to fear for my life and let you win. True story. Multiple times. XD

Re: What are you bad at?
Breaking throws is mostly pure guessing game. Even if you think it goes wrong, it is still better mash a button instead of just watching and eating the throw. Some people tend to get too predictable with their throws, like every time they throw, it's 2+4 or 1+3. Just break it. But once you do(say, break 2+4 throw), they probably try the other one(1+3), while you still expect the previous throw you broke. Sometimes people just keep doing the same grab/set up for a grab. I faced a few times a player who used King(in Online play ), who mostly did the "While Rising" hit(probably 1 or 2), where I obviously got stunned to the ground. The King player tried the ground grab. At first I didn't know how to break it, but I eventually DID manage to do it(just mash 2-button). Even after it did ridiculous mistakes and the same ground-grab-set-up. But he really only won because of Bryan.NIEM0 wrote:

I sooooo agree with you on that. I don't need frame data to win. I don't need frame data to keep winning. Sure, if I know a few frame stuff, I usually say them for lulz. "EWGF is 14 frames long! But if you do a perfect EWGF, it is only 13 frames long! "NIEM0 wrote:

Oh? Well... I have never tried that... and why I should - I haven't seen any Arcades around here except for cruises, but they don't have any Tekken. Ever. According to my knowledge. So they suck.NIEM0 wrote:

How people even dare to slam the machine like crazy? It is expensive, having it on a mall is expensive(for those who keep/hold the machines), why try to break it? I would NEVER do anything like that.NIEM0 wrote:

Re: What are you bad at?
I loled reading your quotes^
i once played against a guy who used Steve, i won easily the first round (Perfect without blinking) but then in the next rounds he just went berserk mashing around the buttons, i was like: "chill out dude". I tried to counter but damn Steve is really hard to hit with Hoarang (he dodges a lot of mid/high attacks) and i got wooped
then i asked for a rematch, and i used all my juggles and wall combos i could remember, and showned him who was the boss!!

This only proves rematches are bad for recent winners.greekman wrote:

Always make people know their place if it is necessary.

Re: What are you bad at?
They're fairly easy to block. Some Eddy/Christie players tend to get to Relax-stance often. This is where Kazuya's Tsunami kick(df+44) is l33t. It works everytime(unless you're too slow). What if you don't have Kazuya/Devil Jin for Tsunami Kick? Well... find another way to make people pay for being in Relax-stance.greekman wrote:

If you want to be creative, jump over the low kicks for creative
