I'm not good at mix-ups with Hwoarang. Maximum hits with decent damage I can get with Hwoarang are 5 hits. 6 hits are a bit more rare. And yes, I mean aerial juggles.
Sure, if I were to trust to button mashing for mixups... would probably work... Or maybe not...

Heh, I used Hwoarang in Tekken 3 too. He is currently my most used character in Tekken Advance.

Well, yeah. My friends (used to) get decent attacks by mashing buttons with Hwoarang. But like you said, they do leave a big openings sometimes.

Practising with Kazuya? EWGF is a must. I'm using him for the most of time now.
Gotta love 112 combo. Absolutely an adorable punishing move. Once the first hit connects, there is no way out.

Kazuya is more of an offensive character, which might explain no parries or attack reversals at all, if you don't count the universal low parry and the lack of many "backward direction-button-actions"(say, b+3141 could be an example).

For me, it usually is situational whether I'm defensive or offensive.
If I'm playing against a player who is not experienced(and lots of people watching), I won't hold back and I give the handicap settings. So yeah, I'm offensive in this case.

But most of people, or "somehow known" and "online friends", are a bit more skilled and it seems like they can read my every move. This is where I go defensive.
Sure, Jeswd might remember our very first matches... That was the time when I went all offensive. I don't feel like telling about those, because they were really, uh... pwnage? After those matches he really has seen through my barriers and has managed to beat me many, many times.
