Chapter 17: "Hunting Hwoarang"

G-corp HQ*

Marduk, Anna and Bryan left the room and they're searching Hwoarang... meanwhile Steve enters the room

Steve: How bad you want Hwoarang?
Kazuya: I'll tell who's your father if you find him...
Steve:I see...

Steve leaves the room, Kazuya smiles*

Forest facility*

Raven: our plan has 2 parts, me and Yoshimitsu shall infiltrate Mishima Zaibatsu, and Alisa will distract the soldiers. Hwoarang and Lili shall try to engage and eliminate Jin Kazama
Hwoarang: We really need to... kill him?!
Raven:There is no other way, he's far too dangerous
Lili: There could be another answer though
Alisa: I've already calculated, the probability is almost none... sorry
Hwoarang: When shall we act?
Raven: Next week, we'll meet here. Be prepared
All: OK!!

Hwoarang walked to a pub on his way home*

Hwoarang: I guess we shall fight for the last time Kazama...

Drinks beer*

Steve: I knew i would find you here!
Hwoarang: Steve??!!
Steve: Sorry dude, i need to take you to G-corp....
Hwoarang: Oh, it seems now we have different roles now...
Steve: I can't loose or i'll never find my father
Hwoarang: hmpf!!

Hwoarang kicks the chair sending it flying to Steve's direction, Steve smashes the chair in the air with a fast punch, but it was a distraction... Hwoarang was already inches to hit Steve with a powerfull kick right on the head, but Steve dodges right on time.

Hwoarang: Very good!!
Steve: You haven't seen anything yet...

Steve lands a punch on Hwoarang's ribs, Hwoarang felt a lot of pain but he took the advantage to counter and kicked Steve´s head, sending him flying through the pub. Steve spits a bit of blood...

Steve: That hurted...
Hwoarang: it was ment to hurt!!

Hwoarang sudently starts to kick all the chairs, Steve dodged and blocked them all

Steve: Is this the best you can.... Damn

Hwoarang hit's Steve's back and perfoms a fast combo, Steve was seriously hurted but he got up

Steve: Damn he's even stronger then before... why?
Hwoarang: You know... that Kazuya was probably lying...
Steve: ....................
Hwoarang: Leave G-corp and join us, we will help you find your father
Steve: Would you help me?
Hwoarang: Yes!

Hwoarang, gets near Steve so they could shake hands... they were almost shaking them when...

Steve: Forgive me Hwoarang...
Hwoarang:??!!

Steve right punched Hwoarang knocking him out...

Steve: Hope someday you'll forgive me...

Someone appears...
Baek: Where do you think you want to take my student?!

Baek: You're not taking Hwoarang away!
Steve: Sorry old man, i must.
Baek: You leave me no choise...
Steve:......

Baek attacks, fast and accuratly. Steve manages to dodge and tries to punch Baek, but he already predicted Steve's move, and countered with a fast combo. Steve was already injured from the fight against Hwoarang, but he kept on going...

Steve: (i must win!)

Steve was giving all he got and injured Baek, but Steve was starting to get slow and Baek took the oportunity to defeat Steve

Steve: Pants* I... must... win...
Baek: Leave, you won't take Hwoarang back to G-Corporation...

Shotgun loading sound*
Bryan was pointing a point blank shotgun on Baeks back...

Bryan: See ya...

Bryan pulls the trigger... and Baek falls on the floor...
The instant before Baek died he had a flashback

Flashback: When he was a taekwondo rookie taught by his father, the day he accidentaly killed him, there was nothing less that gave him pleasure besides fighting untill, he found a prodigy student (Hwoarang) and he enjoyed watching him grow stronger thanks to him...

Steve:.....Why? you didn't had to kill him!!!
Bryan: Hmpf, that mentality is what makes you weak...

Hwoarang awakes, he gets up and looks at Baek... then he turns his head and looks at Bryan with the shotgun
Hwoarang felt really sad, but in an instant he felt huge hatred...

Hwoarang: YOU...i'll crush you to death!!!

Hwoarang runs to engage Bryan, Bryan points shotgun to Hwoarang...

Mishima Zaibatsu*

Jin is in the training room, as he was crushing the trainig robots he was thinking...

Jin: (it seemed like a dream, but in Siberia that person with the hood, and her voice, i remembered my mom...)

Lars Walks in the room

Lars: Sir, we found the body of Heihachi Mishima...
Jin: He was killed afterall, by that man...
Lars: We need to prepare ourselves he is too strong for us right now...
Jin: indeed... oh Lars, btw i remember that he said you were a Mishima...
Lars: I am son of Heihachi Mishima, but i have no feellings for him as a faher, and i renounce that name...
Jin: We are much alike Lars, i understand. You can't choose your family, but you can choose how people call you and remember you
Lars: Yes you're right
Jin: hmmm i just had an idea... that Kenpachi... he could destroy G-corporation for us!

Kenpachi: yawning* i'm soo bored!

all the soldiers were slaughtered, the chinese military was moving to engage Kenpachi

Kenpachi: They never learn...

Hwoarang was running to engage Bryan, Bryan points his shotgun and fires, but Hwoarang dodged in the exact timing, Bryan was surprised...

Bryan: (How the hell is he soo fast?!)

Hwoarang remembers the words of D.Bosconovitch...

Flashback:

D.Bosconovitch: Hwoarang, those Nano-machines are a great gift, but the truth is they weren't ment just to keep you alive...

D.Bosconovitch: They are reconfiguring your DNA, and changing it something else...
Hwoarang: What the...?!
D.Bosconovitch:But... it's different... they also enhance your physical abilities in short periods of time, but there is a cost to pay...
Hwoarang: And what is?
D.Bosconovitch: It will provoque a great stress in your muscles and for a time you'll be in great pain... And unable to fight, so i ask you this... Never use them unless for saving your own life or to save someone else...

Back to the fight scene*

Hwoarang: (i'll use it to avenge my master)

Activates nano-machines full power*
And in an instant, Hwoarang kicks Bryan in the head

Bryan: (damn, he was at least 5m away... How did he..?)

Hwoarang wasn't going to let him escape... he delivered a serie of fast and heavy kicks, he could feel the inner parts of Bryan starting to break
Bryan hits the ground, weakly he gets up...

Bryan's cpu: Damage: 70%
Bryan: What??!! That much... in such a short time... it can't be

Hwoarang starts to feel weaker...

Hwoarang: (no... not yet...)

Steve surprises Hwoarang from the back, and hits a direct punch on the back of his head... Hwoarang's eyesight blured for a moment, but he focused an countered with a strong kick, Steve blocked with his Right arm but...

SFX: Crack*

Steve's arm was broken... he felled on the floor with agony, Bryan took the advantage to point a stun weapon to Hwoarang...

Bryan: Now sleep

Hwoarang got hit, he felt the voltage running trough his body, and started to loose consciousness

Hwoarang saw his life passing right in front of him...

Flashback:

Hwoarang when he was just a rogue kid, never knew his parents, runned from the orphanage, learned to live on the streets of Korea, stealing and fighting to survive, he got in ilegal fights to make money, there was when he knew Jin... his eternal rival...
Baek found him and taught him Taekwondo... He was like a father to him... He was the person who he respected the most... now he was gone...

Hwoarang hits the ground*

Bryan: Let's take him...
Steve:................

They took Hwoarang back to G-Corporation where Kazuya was waiting, Is this the end of the line for Hwoarang...?

Mishima Zaibatsu*

Jin was training again, but this time he was trying to control his Devil gene... but he was failing... each time he began to fully transform, the emergeny program from the training room, contained him untill he reagined conscious as Jin again... Jin was trying to overpower his gene for a long time... but he never managed to make any progress...

Lars enter the room*

Jin: Lars! err... i remember you used a bit of the Devil gene power, but you didn't turned...
Lars: first of all i have less traces then you and Kazuya, and i learned to control it and condense it..
Jin: Please Lars!! Teach me how...
Lars: It's going to be hard... it takes a lot of mental power... and your gene is very strong
Jin: That's why i need to learn it!! i must defeat my father, but without turnig into that thing...
Lars: I'll try to teach you...

Hong Kong*

News: The unkown man, continues to create chaos near the border, the military is having a rough time to contain him...

Lei leaves the glass on the table bar...

Lei: Guess i'll have to solve this...

Hwoarang was enchained, and he regained consciousness...

Hwoarang: What do you want?! bastard...
Kazuya: Silence!! i'll tell you what i want...

Kazuya: The nano-machine project, was creqated for two reasons... First to create an army of enhanced soldiers, so i can conquer the world, but that i'll use the type "beta" of the nano-machines...
Hwoarang: Type "beta"???
Kazuya: yes, you have the "alpha" type, that has some effects like "beta" but it was engineered to do something far more valuable... Since it can change the DNA, i'll use it as a cure for the devil gene!!
Hwoarang: What?! i thought you liked that power...
Kazuya: You don't understand... with those nano-machines i can hold the Devil-gene without being posessed by Devil. We used you has an Lab-rat to see if it works... now we shall analyse you...

Window breaks, Raven, and Alisa get in the room

Raven: we're here to get you Hwoarang

Alisa used her chainsaws to open a hole on the floor, and they all jump in it

Kazuya: I won't let you escape!

A grenade flies trough the air... and exploded on kazuya

Yoshimitsu: Hehehehe!! you should be more carefull

Yoshimitsu flees...

Kazuya spiting blood*

Kazuya: Damn you all!!!!

Kenpachi: Very good!! i love your technique, great kung-fu, i saw only one style but with that easy moving and improvisation i can tell you know at leats 5 styles no?!
Lei: (he has excellent battle analysis, this will be troublesome)
