Graphics or Gameplay
The ps3 version of tekken 6 is better with the motion blur off and the 360 version is better with the motion blur on. . . which do you choose graphics or gameplay??
My choice is gamplay. . .tekken's gameplay is what it makes itself standout from other fighters. . . . . .

Both versions have their pros and cons. . . .

Re: Graphics or Gameplay
I'm gonna simplify that article so people could understand it better.
The PS3 version is the one that could have the best possible textures. This is done by having the Motion-Blur off.
The 360 version is the one that could have the best possible resolution. This is done by, once again, having the Motion-Blur off.
The PS3 version is locked at a resolution of 1024x576 whether Motion-Blur is turned on or off, while the 360 version reduces from 1365x768 to 1024x576 when you switch Motion-Blur from off to on, but the 360 has enhanced textures when it's turned on, but not as good as the PS3 version's textures when it's turned off on that version.
I wish it would state which has better textures between the PS3 version with Motion-Blur on and the 360 version with Motion-Blur on. They probably look the same. If so, I'm gonna keep Motion-Blur on. Looking at all 4 comparison screens, they all look pretty much the same anyway.
Basically, the 360 version has the best possible resolution, and the PS3 version has the best possible textures. I believe they look exactly the same when Motion-Blur is turned on for both of them.

Most muliti-platform games usually have better lighting on the xbox 360's hardware.
And most of them have better texture's running on the ps3's hardware. . .In my opinion anyway. . .JUST look at GTA4
Anyway,I was thinking about keeping my motion-blur off. . .Although my HDTV upscales all my ps3 games too 1080p. . .like tekken 5 DR

Re: Graphics or Gameplay
Oh, I just read, I think the PS3 version gets an optional "Install to HDD" feature that would exceed the resolution of the 360 version. So basically, you can have your cake and eat it to. (I hate that expression, and never really understood what it means)iceyou88 wrote:Melee_Sovereign wrote:I'm gonna simplify that article so people could understand it better.

Which would be good, because if it didn't get that, that would mean that Tekken 5 DR for PS3 would have a higher resolution, which would be dumb. Tekken 5 DR is capable of running at true HD, so Tekken 6 should be able to too.

Go too the topic were it says that tekken 6 (360) version might be on two discs. . .

Re: Graphics or Gameplay
I'll take Motion Blur off(if it's possible?). I want to see Heihachi's Hellsweep coming. Motion Blur makes it look a lot faster than it is already and I would get confused like no tomorrow.
Grapichs or gameplay?
Grapichs are important so you could focus on gameplay. If grapichs are in 8-bit, but gameplay better than most of games, uh... Maybe gameplay.

Re: Graphics or Gameplay
Gameplay of course... Tekken 6 in particular doesn't look nearly as good as the other 3D fighting games (well, 'cept Mortal Kombat of course)... the character models look very PS2-ish, albeit in higher resolution with smoother animations. Did I mention that those "giant red blobs" that pop up on a successful hit look absolutely horrible?
Even so, I'll take the fighting system in Tekken over any other fighter -- though I'd still like to see Tekken rip-off DOA's interactive stages.

Yes, Tekken 5 DR runs at a higher resolution. It's less taxing on the console to present a PS2-level game at a high resolution than a PS3 game.Melee_Sovereign wrote:
