Tekken 6 Online Discussion
Alright, decided to make an online topic for Tekken 6's online play to go with Dark Resurrection one.
Any discussion about Tekken 6's online play and -> discussion after matches between us. <- Might increase everyones skills here. I'm not trying to say that you are not too bad or too good, but no one can truly be perfect. Just keep raising the bar until you've got nothing left.
BUT.... This is still online play. Since any trash might come at ya(input delay, anyone?), the matches are not meant to be taken too seriously.

Re: Tekken 6 Online Discussion
I don´t have time for T6 online now, because I have a lot of exams in my university but I would like to play online T6 with all members...I hope the lag will disappear...

When I played against Muggshotter in TK5DRO, there was almost no lag. Now, there is :O

Me too. Ever since the T6 tournament I participated, I've started to get ticked off even if there is a small input delay....jeswd wrote:I SO HATE TO PLAY RANKED MATCHES IN ONLINE!!!!!!!!!!! aAAAAAAAAAAARGH!!
I don't always notice any lag in our Tekken 6 online matches if what you said is true. Sometimes lags, sometimes don't. This was the same for our DRO matches as well, if I remember right.jeswd wrote:

So you will have to pay for that?

kazamafan15 wrote:Harada already said that every DLC for Tekken 6 is free
That's great!
Re: Tekken 6 Online Discussion
I'm surprised that Tekken 6 DLC will be free, because pretty much any DLC costs, whether it's a new outfit, more missions or more _______ .kazamafan15 wrote:Harada already said that every DLC for Tekken 6 is free
You need to practice your defense particularly. I'm probably saying this because my main(Jin Kazama) requires good defensive manners in order to win.KazuyaFreak wrote:i can conclude that i need practice...and ALOT
Re: Tekken 6 Online Discussion
I have a question, but I probably won't get any answer..but I'll still ask.
I have a good connection, but when I create a session nobody ever comes there. But when I invite someone it's absolutely ok.
So any sugestions why is this happening?

Hmm... did you set Private Slots? Private Slots ensure you can invite your friends and no one else will come to your room to take your invited friends' spots.Admin wrote:I have a question, but I probably won't get any answer..but I'll still ask.

But the best connections are supposed to be on the top aren't they?
So, why is mine always somewhere in the bottom?
It's just confusing

It's about time
For those unhappy with Tekken 6's online network performance you're in luck. Namco Bandai today announced that a patch is set to roll out in a couple of days for both the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of the game.
More details below.
NAMCO BANDAI Games today released further details about the forthcoming free downloadable update designed to improve the online game experience for players of TEKKEN 6 on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. The update is scheduled for release on 26th November.
The update is separate from the online co-op Scenario Campaign mode download which is scheduled for release separately this winter.
Online gameplay enhancements in the update include the following:
Improved input response: improvement of the game's responsiveness to button / command inputs;
Selectable search priorities for ranked matches: players will be able to set search priorities for opponents in ranked matches based on comparable rank or connection quality as well as location;
Optimized data transmission between fighters and spectators: fight data will be optimized in order to reduce the bandwidth load on the host’s console;
Signal strength bars: the signal strength bar will reflect connection quality more accurately;
Chance to cancel match: players will be able to cancel the match before it begins once the opponent's signal strength has been displayed on ranked matches.
The team at NAMCO BANDAI Games Inc is committed to delivering the best possible experience with TEKKEN 6 and would like to thank the thousands of fans all over the world for their invaluable feedback. Let the sixth King of Iron Fist Tournament continue.
