But... Wii supported GameCube games.kazamafan15 wrote:well the wii's gone finally!
now I should buy a better console.
I would even like to buy a Gamecube
Re: A Nintendo Thread
Ah, I see. It's a great console to have. The white GameCube got sooo into me when I first saw it after all I had saw was the Black version of it at friends.kazamafan15 wrote:I just want to have a Gamecube
GameCube has one thing that Wii doesn't have: The GameBoy Advance Player support. With it you can play your GBA games on GameCube, full TV screen! OMG!
Re: A Nintendo Thread
And it's a lot smaller than most consoles. And you can carry it like a lunchbox.kazamafan15 wrote:Yeah that's another reason why I want a Gamecube
Four controller ports, which means NO MULTITAP! It's actually one of the best things about GameCube(and the original XBox if you want to count it in), while I used to get ticked off at PlayStation 2 for having an expensive accessory for four player games. I actually STILL don't have one to be honest.
GameCube is also probably the only console that uses small sized CDs.... it is so small.

Too bad there really aren't much places that sell GameCube controllers anymore... But, if I'm not mistaken, DreamGear has produced some, if you can't find any official GCN controllers. Mad Catz GCN Memory card for the win. xD
Re: A Nintendo Thread

I had to play Zelda Twilight Princess on the gamecube.
But when I do get a wii Im looking forward to the next Zelda

LoZ: Twilight Princess was originally intended for GameCube, but around the same time Wii got revealed, and so the game saw the light on Wii as well. I like the GameCube version more than the Wii version personally.Zeldarose wrote:Unfortunatly I don't have a wii yet.

Yeah... But now we are going to have Zelda: Spirit Tracks on DS.Zeldarose wrote:

I'm really interested in what the next "Wii Zelda" game will be.
Re: A Nintendo Thread
Nah, I don't prefer that. I don't really feel like for ordering lots of stuff from the net(DS). Though I had Homebrew Channel for Wii, which allows you to hack games and play imported games(region lock, anyone?) and maybe them hack them as well. I changed Super Smash Bros. Brawl's Menu Theme several times, and eventually I had to cash in my free NES game because I had downloaded the Internet Channel before(which allows to browse the net with Wii ), which became free. Yea, people who bought the Internet Channel back then got any NES game that was available at Wii Shop Channel was free. I chose Mega Man 3 for those who are curious. But to get the game, I had to update my Wii to the latest firmware update, which didn't allow me to copy the Homebrew Channel anymore...kazamafan15 wrote:does anyone download games for the DS and Wii(Illegal) or buy them?
Re: A Nintendo Thread
I tell everyone DS games aren't cheap there much to expensive for what you get.
Re: A Nintendo Thread
Well, the games' quality varies on DS. Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days seems to be an awesome game and seemly pushes the DS' hardware to the limits.kazamafan15 wrote:I tell everyone DS games aren't cheap there much to expensive for what you get.
But then again, games like Rhythm Paradise....
Re: A Nintendo Thread
well I could buy a Star Wars game both on the DS(€40) and PSP (€30)
while the PSP version had more content so do you understand what I mean?

Re: A Nintendo Thread
Hardcore? Hmm... I really can't say. I have Mario Slam Basketball, Super Mario 64 DS and New Super Mario Bros. at the moment.kazamafan15 wrote:Okay oh do you know any good game (Hardcore) on the DS?
I used to have Mario Kart DS, but I lost it...
I recommend Mario Kart DS, but I have spent A LOT. Of time playing Mario Slam Basketball. I wanted to get every Cup to Gold Trophies(maximum rank) and unlock pretty much everything. Though if you want to unlock absolutely everything, you need to unlock the balls as well, two of them are gained from winning and losing 10 matches in multiplayer.

I got into GameCube again thanks to this game
Now I feel like replacing my GameCube's scart cables(it doesn't produce sounds), get a third controller and... a game for it! Oh, wait.... I want PSP too.

btw here's my top 10 DS games
there are some titles which I normally wouldn't buy (Number 10 and 7)
Re: A Nintendo Thread
Alright, I bought this game yesterday:
This game's pretty kick-a** even though it's just the GameCube version with Wii Remote controls(and people say Wii = pretty much like GameCube ). My sister and I had fun playing a Doubles match co-op. A great addition to Mario spin-offs, I gotta say. Don't have Wii? Get the GameCube version? Don't have GameCube(but have Wii)? Get the Wii version. Solid, fun (Mario) Tennis action.
Here's my "On Test" -video I uploaded yesterday, for those who haven't seen it.

I got first three Cups completed, both in Singles and Doubles. Yeah, my right wrist is always a bit worn out after lots of quick swings.
The Star Cup(the third cup) on Doubles... man, the Finals were sooooo tight and intense! Power Shots fly left and right! And the Deuce-Adv.-point thing.... it was that made the game endure for over 20 minutes probably.
Man I want the GameCube version.
